I am linking up with Joy today. :)

Consider it all joy...
James 1:2 Nasb
"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various [c]trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces [d]endurance. 4 And let [e]endurance have its perfect[f]result, so that you may be [g]perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
what!? notice it doesn't say if you encounter trials, it says when. And when those trials come, we're supposed to consider them joy? what? It isn't our second nature to do that, when something happens to you that is bad or when you have piles of homework or if you are stressed out of what your doing next in life. " James must've written it wrong..." no. He didn't.
I was recently talking to a friend, who said she was stressed and she wanted this phase in life to go away. She was having a conversation with another person, who replied to her saying " You are in the oven, being formed, and if you get out now, you won't be complete"
So, consider it all joy when you encounter trials. you are being formed by Jesus. And when you've had enough, ask Jesus to help you. You can't do it by yourself, you need Him.
